About Vercyc

We move end-of-life tires from where they accumulate to where they create value.

Vercyc is a Santiago-based export company specialising in the collection, classification, and international shipment of end-of-life tires (NFU) from South America to certified recycling processors worldwide. We operate at the intersection of regulatory compliance, industrial logistics, and the global circular economy for rubber.

Founder

Founded by Ivan Villar Saavedra

Ivan Villar Saavedra brings over 20 years of direct experience in Chile’s tire recycling and waste management sector. He previously served as General Manager of CINC — the industry association representing Bridgestone, Michelin, Goodyear and Pirelli in Chile — and later as founder and General Manager of Chile Neumáticos (ChN), the country’s leading tire importer association.

During that period, Ivan led the design and implementation of Chile’s Extended Producer Responsibility (REP) framework for tires, participated in international benchmarking across Brazil, Spain, Italy, Portugal, France and Finland, and helped create Valora Más — Chile’s principal collective tire management system under Ley REP (DS8/2021).

Vercyc was founded in 2024 with a clear focus: applying that regulatory and operational knowledge to build a reliable, compliant export channel for South American end-of-life tires reaching international recycling markets.

What We Do

A focused export operation, built for compliance

Vercyc sources end-of-life tires from municipalities, mining operations, fleet operators, and automotive workshops across South America. We classify, prepare, and load them into 40ft shipping containers for export to certified crumb rubber and reclaim rubber processors internationally.

Vision

Building a long-term supply corridor from South America to global recyclers

South America generates millions of end-of-life tires annually with limited domestic processing capacity. International recyclers — particularly in India — need consistent, documented, compliant feedstock. Vercyc exists to connect these two realities reliably and at scale.

Our roadmap moves from Chile to broader South American sourcing, and from India to additional international markets, always with the same principle: every container fully documented, every shipment traceable, every partner relationship built for the long term.

Phase 1 — Current
Chile → India
40ft container exports · Crumb rubber & reclaim rubber processors · FOB & CIF · 30–45 day delivery
Phase 2 — Expanding
South America → India + Southeast Asia
Expanded sourcing across South America · Additional buyer markets · Increased volumes
Phase 3 — Long Term
USA + South America → Global
North American sourcing corridors · Multiple destination markets · Full-scale recurring supply agreements
